About NASA - Importance Of Sanitation

Anyone that has visited the public places in India would instantly understand the need for clean toilet facilities.  The lack of clean sanitation facilities has been a common cause for many diseases in India.  Most of the places where large number of people assemble, such as at schools, railway stations, bus stations, hospitals, parks, beaches, markets and places of worship, lack adequate toilet and urinal facilities for public use.  NASA has focused on such places in the urban areas that experience high volume of transitory traffic.
