With funds accepted from charitable organizations, corporate and individual donations, local, state, central government and foreign agencies, NASA has included pilgrim routes and destinations for providing toilet, bath, and water facilities to visitors.
The size of the work to be done is mammoth, and unless more funds are forthcoming, the sanitation project already completed will ever be like a drop gained by a needle when dipped in a bucket of water. NASA, therefore, strives to awaken concerned individuals and organization, including NRIs, to consider the situation as one affecting the whole planet earth, and not just India, and to contribute generously in right earnest; for it is said—
“…the earth is not our heritage—we have only borrowed it from our children”.
